Clubflat in Australia & New Zealand 2009

As you drive past huge signs showing the over-enthusiastic man himself, a real sadness hits you as you approach Australia Zoo, home of The Crocodile Hunter.  Having followed his exploits from the raw early days before he became a commercialised global phenomenon, the legend that is Steve Irwin will never be forgotten.  His crocodile park and zoo lives on and goes from strength to strength.  Steve Irwin is still very much the centre piece of his park and as you walk around the place you have seen so much on TV, you can't help but spare a thought for the great loss he is to the world of wildlife entertainment.  Clubflat paid homage to Steve Irwin on the newly erected memorial statue in the zoo by Clubflatting it with cards, along with everything else in the zoo.  With plenty of crocs, alligators and other zoo animals to see along with the live croc feeding shows in the infamous Crocoseum, it's a damn good day out.  The temperature was soaring into the high 30's with almost unbearable humidity and no wind, but the park is extremely well designed with lots of shade and cover.  If you ever visit here, look out for one of the many Clubflat cards we planted!  Crikey!
