For September 2007, Hero, Wolverand and partners Lucy and Deb were off to Albufeira in The Algarve for some sun, sea, beer, and most importantly, diving. Supposedly the liveliest resort in The Algarve, Albufeira certainly has much to offer. Ok it's not quite Ibiza or Zante as far as nightlife goes, but the place was still rammed and with 'The Strip' in New Town and 'The Square' with all its side passages in the picturesque Old Town, there are plenty of bars to choose from. Added to the mix are a whole myriad of entertaining street performers, some great restaurants, fantastic water parks and really friendly locals which all help make Albufeira the buzzing place it is, a place we certainly would go back to. Clubflat were brilliantly located within walking distance in-between New Town and Old Town, with the beach a stones throw away at the bottom of the hill. And our ground floor balconies at the hotel opened out onto the poolside so a spot in the sun was always assured. Also assured was the planting of a few hundred Clubflat cards.
